A sensory experience on wheels: a loop of approximately 40 km built around three Taste Stops. From the Territory's Appetiser to the Doges' Toast and the Final Caress, each stop tells the best of the Plain of the Doges through the authentic flavours of the season.
What you will experience
- The Territory's Appetiser: The bold flavours of the Veronese Stortina, local cheeses and the excellence of Rice and Radicchio — symbols of the local agricultural tradition
- The Doges' Toast: A visit to native wine cellars or craft breweries to discover the art of local production
- The Final Caress: A sweet finish with the baking traditions of the area, in historic pastry shops and bakeries
- Authentic Seasonality: Stops and tasted products change with the seasons, always fresh and representative of the moment you choose to ride with me
The Concept: The 3 Taste Stops
I designed a format that balances sport with the pleasure of the palate, structured around three key moments:
The Territory’s Appetiser (The Savoury): The discovery of bold flavours, such as the celebrated Veronese Stortina, local cheeses, or the excellence linked to Rice and Radicchio — symbols of the local agricultural tradition.
The Doges’ Toast (The Drink): Depending on the itinerary, you’ll visit one of the native wine cellars or a craft brewery in the area to discover the art of local production.
The Final Caress (The Sweet): A beautiful finish with the baking traditions of the territory, in historic pastry shops and bakeries of the area.
Seasonality and Products
The strength of this tour is authenticity. This land follows the cycle of the seasons: the stops and the tasted products change throughout the year, always guaranteeing you the freshest and most representative product of the moment you choose to ride with me.
Spring and Summer: Local markets burst with colour and the countryside offers its finest produce. Wineries open their doors for the first tastings of the season.
Autumn: The golden season for food lovers. Harvest is underway, bakeries are fragrant with freshly baked bread, and Veronese Radicchio producers are at their busiest.
Winter: The cold brings the most intense flavours: the Veronese Stortina, aged cheeses and artisan grappa from small local producers make this period surprisingly rich.
