Do you own an MTB but feel uneasy when the asphalt ends? Biker Start is the program designed for those who want to learn the basic techniques, push their limits, and discover that the Plain of the Doges hides surprisingly technical and fun single tracks.
What you will experience
- Technical Training: First phase in a protected grassy area to learn positioning, balance and agility in complete safety
- Riverbank Single Tracks: A succession of fast corners, short climbs and technical relaunches to experience the wild side of the plain
- Photo Service Included: Capture your progress and bring home unique memories of your first MTB adventure
- The Third Half: An optional social chat at the end to celebrate the day's progress
What will you learn?
The first phase takes place in a protected grassy area where the grass cushions falls and allows you to experiment in complete safety. We will work on:
Setup & Control: Correct positioning, “attack position” and handlebar grip management.
Dynamic Balance: Foot position on the pedals and body balancing on controlled uphill and downhill sections.
Agility: How to navigate tight corners and overcome small obstacles with practical exercises and slope tests on the riverbank.
The Field Experience
We’ll immediately put the learned skills into practice with a ~40 km tour through the riverbank single tracks: a succession of fast corners, short climbs and technical relaunches. A fluid, adrenaline-pumping route that will change your mind forever about riding on the plains!
Who is this for?
This program is dedicated exclusively to beginners. If you’re looking for competitive improvement or extreme riding, this is not the right course for you. All you need is the willingness to try and accept making mistakes: falling (on the grass!) is part of the learning process.
